A leading Tier 2 main contractor specialising in Critical Environments is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Dublin-based project teams. The company delivers complex projects across Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing, and Critical Logistics, working with blue-chip clients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple projects to ensure commercial performance and cost control.
• Oversee budgets, cost reporting, and commercial administration systems.
• Review tender documentation and identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement and agreements.
• Administer contractual matters including EOTs, claims, and compensation events.
• Monitor project costs and report on variances with corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular commercial reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and subcontract arrangements.
• Support strong client relationships and repeat business opportunities.
Requirements:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (SCSI/RICS recognised).
• 6+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (RIAI, FIDIC, JCT).
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage client and project relationships.
Salary Package:
• €85,000 – €95,000 DOE
