Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Dublin
Salary: Circa €65,000–€70,000
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to deliver high-quality building services designs across commercial, residential, and education projects in Dublin.
Note: Irish experience is a must as projects require local knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for lighting, power, life safety, ICT, and renewable systems.
- Deliver projects from concept to handover and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Carry out site visits, prepare reports, and manage technical documentation.
- Support and mentor junior engineers.
- Liaise with clients and represent the team in design meetings.
Project Sectors
- Commercial: Offices, mixed-use, and retail.
- Residential: Apartments and high-density housing.
- Education: Schools and third-level buildings.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- 5–8+ years’ experience in building services design.
- Strong software skills (AutoCAD, Revit, calculation tools).
- Proven experience in the three key project sectors.
- Chartered or working toward Chartership (advantage).
