Mechanical Construction Manager
We are recruiting for a Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. This role will be based in Germany. You will oversee site operations, subcontractor management, safety, quality, programme delivery, and coordination across M&E trades on major projects across Ireland and Europe.

Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site mechanical construction activities from mobilisation to project completion
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, productivity, and daily work planning
- Coordinate mechanical installations in line with programme, quality, and safety standards
- Monitor project progress, short-term programmes, and labour allocation
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures including RAMS, permits, toolbox talks, and audits
- Liaise with clients, design teams, commissioning engineers, and other trades
- Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, snagging, and commissioning support
Requirements
- Trade qualification in Pipefitting, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, or related mechanical discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in Mechanical Construction Management on large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installation and project delivery
- Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills
- Strong understanding of HSEQ procedures and construction best practices
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage programme and productivity targets
