A long-established building services consultancy is seeking a skilled BIM Technician with strong Revit MEP experience to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work across a variety of healthcare, commercial, and public sector projects, supporting multidisciplinary teams of engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and updating MEP models using Revit MEP in line with project requirements.
- Support the production of detailed layouts, including General Arrangements, Sections, and simple Details under guidance.
- Follow established BIM workflows in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Work collaboratively with engineers and senior technicians to support coordinated building services models.
- Assist with basic clash detection using Revit and Navisworks, helping to prepare and track clash reports.
- Apply standard CAD practices, including basic layer management and drawing organisation.
Requirements
- Approximately 1 year of experience working as a BIM or MEP Technician (internship or junior-level experience acceptable).
- Foundational knowledge of Revit MEP with formal training or certification preferred.
- Basic experience with AutoCAD and an understanding of standard modelling practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn and develop.
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering is an advantage but not essential.
- Familiarity with COBie data or BIM coordination tools is beneficial but not required.
