Senior Traffic & Transport Engineer (5-10 years):

- Excellent opportunity for a Traffic & Transportation Engineer to join an Irish owned well established Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy.
- The successful Senior Traffic and Transport Engineer will have experience in all the relevant plans (MMP, TIA, Travel Plans) and modelling in Picady, Arcady, Oscady or comparable).
- As Senior Traffic & Transportation Engineer you will work on a range of challenging projects, including residential to multi-million-euro commercial developments, working closely with clients.

Requirements:
- Ideally Master s in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or equivalent.
- Ideally be Chartered but not essential.
- Traffic & Transport Engineer with 5-10 years experience.
- Traffic Modeller / Traffic Engineer who has experience modelling with Picady, Arcady, Oscady and Transyt.
Role:
- Management Plans (MMP), Travel Plans) and general transport design for planning;
- Take full responsibility for fulfilling the traffic modelling requirements for development projects;
- Prepare Traffic Impact Assessments (TIA), Mobility Management Plans (MMP), Travel Plans, etc. for planning applications;
- Design junctions, roundabouts, car parks, access to car parks and basements, etc.
- Engage with and advise colleagues/ clients on parking ratios, bicycle, electric vehicle, shared vehicle requirements for developments;
- Engage with the Local Authority/ An Bord Pleanala as required;
- Co-ordinate the development of all traffic & transport drawings and reports;
- Liaise with the Architect on drawings and issue mark-ups / comments where necessary;
- Ensure all drawings are checked prior to issue to site;
- Respond to all contractor queries in a timely fashion;
- Attend design team meetings / workshops;
- Provide any other inputs on projects as may be required from time to time; and
- Actively engage in CPD and route to Chartership;
Salary & Benefits:
- Excellent salary circa €65k – €75k
