Technical Coordinator
A top-tier main building contractor is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their team at their head office in North Dublin. With an exceptionally busy year ahead, our client boasts a robust lineup of diverse projects across Ireland, spanning educational facilities, residential developments, and industrial schemes. Candidates without prior main contractor experience are welcome to apply if they’re eager to transition into this field.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Design Director
- Manage the submission and approval process for designs and materials, securing client confirmation.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential design or risk issues in collaboration with the design team.
- Create forward-looking schedules to support project planning.
- Work closely with project management teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Demonstrate solid skills in planning and project programming.
- Participate in site meetings and provide updates on progress.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience as a design or technical coordinator with a main contractor or developer is advantageous, though candidates from architectural firms or design consultancies with relevant skills will be considered.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and spoken.
