Technical Bid Writer with 4 years’+ experience required to join a leading Civil Engineering company in Munster. This role will ideally be based from the Cork office but remote work considered.
Role:
- Review tender documents, visit tender sites and compile project delivery methodology for winning the bid
- Gather, collate and write material in order to meet the requirements for tender submissions
- Work to a programme of deliverables to meet tender requirements
- Maintain regular communication with the work winning team
- Capture and support development of bid ‘win themes’ from tender strategy meetings
- Write specific responses to questions in a PQQ or tender
- Keep up to date with project-specific case studies and value reports
- Produce bespoke material to support business development and account management activities
- Research and write supporting information for use in proposals, including case studies, CVs, project best practice and project innovations
- Proactively engage in knowledge management systems, capturing and submitting evidence for use in future bids
- Liaise with the operations teams in order to ensure that they are briefed on the details of the bid or PQQ and work with them on the resolution of technical responses
- Keep abreast of proposal best practice, including guidance to less experienced staff and those from other areas of the business
- Being hands on and work with Bid and Sales’ leads to drive winning solutions.
- Self-starter for data collection from all regions on an ongoing basis to keep our Tender Library Up to Date (data sheets, case studies, CVs etc).
- Establishing digital smart working environments from online meetings to innovative digital atmosphere to drive efficient bid preparation.
- Work with team to produce graphics for the submissions
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the construction industry or experience within a project based organisation
- Sufficient technical knowledge to compile a construction methodology for bids
- Above average English writing skills – someone from an English Degree background also considered
Salary:
- Salary €50k – €70k neg DOE
