Structural Technician
Location: Naas
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Structural Technician with 5+ years’ experience to join a well-established consulting engineering practice based in Naas. This growing firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality civil and structural engineering solutions across a broad range of residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects throughout Ireland.
Projects Include
- Residential housing and apartment developments
- Commercial and mixed-use developments
- Healthcare and educational projects
- Industrial and pharmaceutical facilities
- Projects ranging in value from €5m to €100m+
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and detailed 2D structural drawings and 3D REVIT models.
- Coordinate drawings and models with engineers, architects, and design team members.
- Assist in the preparation of structural detailing packages for a variety of building projects.
- Ensure all drawings are produced to a high technical standard and in line with project requirements.
- Work closely with senior engineers and project teams throughout project delivery.
Requirements
- Level 8 Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience working within a structural or civil engineering consultancy.
- Strong understanding of structural detailing and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is preferred
- Experience working within BIM environments and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
