A well-established and highly regarded civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a major residential development in South Dublin. This is a long-term opportunity, with the first phase of the project just commencing and further phases planned in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site civil engineering activities, including groundworks, drainage, utilities, and road construction.
- Lead and supervise direct labour teams and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor daily site progress, maintain accurate site records, and attend regular project meetings.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across the site.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager or Civils Foreman on civil engineering or residential construction projects in Ireland.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and in-house teams effectively.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
