Site Engineer – North Dublin

A Site Engineer is required to support the delivery of a key substation project in Kilshane, North Dublin. This is a site-based role working on a major energy infrastructure development, ideal for a Site Engineer with 2+ years’ experience looking to further develop their career on complex civil and utilities projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager and Senior Engineering team, supporting the delivery of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and associated civils works on a fast-paced infrastructure project.

Role:
• Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day coordination of site activities on a substation project in Kilshane, North Dublin
• Carry out setting out, surveying, and quality control duties as required
• Assist in the supervision and coordination of subcontractors including RC, structural steel, drainage, and external works
• Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Carry out regular site inspections and assist with quality assurance checks
• Support the management of site progress, sequencing, and programme delivery
• Assist in reviewing RAMS, method statements, and ensuring compliance with site safety procedures
• Liaise with subcontractors, site supervisors, and senior management to ensure smooth project delivery
• Assist with maintaining site records, daily reports, and as-built information
• Identify and report any technical issues or site discrepancies to the Site Manager or Senior Engineer
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with Health & Safety regulations and company standards

Requirements:
• 2+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer in construction or civil engineering projects
• Strong experience in setting out and site engineering duties
• Experience on reinforced concrete, structural steel, or infrastructure projects is preferred
• Energy, utilities, or substation project experience is an advantage but not essential
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of site coordination and subcontractor management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Relevant degree or qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Full driving licence required

Salary and Benefits:
• Salary circa €55k–€65k depending on experience
