Site Engineer
Site Engineer required for a leading Main Contractor to work on a large residential development in Adamstown, West Dublin. The successful Site Engineer will play a key role in the day-to-day technical delivery of a major new-build residential scheme. The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK, with a strong preference for local market experience.
Duties:
- Setting out, levelling and surveying the site to ensure works are carried out to the required specification and tolerances
- Interpreting and communicating design drawings and technical information to the site team and subcontractors
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour on a day-to-day basis
- Completing and maintaining site records including RFIs, technical submittals, inspection and test plans
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with programme, specification and quality requirements
- Liaising with the Site Manager and Project Manager to report on progress and flag technical issues
- Carrying out quality inspections and snagging at relevant stages of the project
- Assisting in the preparation of as-built drawings and project closeout documentation
- Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are adhered to on site at all times
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline
- 3–6 years’ experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK
- Residential or structural frame experience advantageous
- Must have experience working in Ireland
Benefits:
- Salary circa €70,000 to €80,000 – DOE
