Site Engineer

Site Engineer required for a leading Main Contractor to work on a large residential development in Adamstown, West Dublin. The successful Site Engineer will play a key role in the day-to-day technical delivery of a major new-build residential scheme. The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK, with a strong preference for local market experience.

Duties:

• Setting out, levelling and surveying the site to ensure works are carried out to the required specification and tolerances
• Interpreting and communicating design drawings and technical information to the site team and subcontractors
• Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour on a day-to-day basis
• Completing and maintaining site records including RFIs, technical submittals, inspection and test plans
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with programme, specification and quality requirements
• Liaising with the Site Manager and Project Manager to report on progress and flag technical issues
• Carrying out quality inspections and snagging at relevant stages of the project
• Assisting in the preparation of as-built drawings and project closeout documentation
• Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are adhered to on site at all times

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline
• 3–6 years’ experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK
• Residential or structural frame experience advantageous
• Must have experience working in Ireland

Benefits:

• Salary circa €70,000 to €80,000 – DOE
