A leading Civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary civil engineering and utilities contractor in the Midwest. As a Site Engineer you are required to have a good knowledge and understanding of civil engineering and utility operations including a good knowledge of underground electrical networks, this should underpin an understanding of the requirements and needs of our extremely successful business unit. The successful candidate will be working on a wide variety of projects such as Residential, Commercial, Roads, Substations etc..
Role:
- Setting out
- Overseeing building work
- Site surveying
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
- Assisting the procurement department
- Assisting the commercial department.
- Completing SHEQ forms
- Tracking site records
- Completing labour and plant returns
- General site civil engineering daily tasks
Requirements:
- Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience
- Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station
- Excellent MS Office skills
Salary
- Salary circa €45k – €65k DOE
