Site Engineer – Civil Engineering (Swords, Dublin)
A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer with 2–3 years’ experience to join their team on a civil infrastructure project in Swords, Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to gain hands-on experience on a high-quality project while working with an established contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying on site using GPS/Total Station
- Supporting the day-to-day management of site operations
- Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings and specifications
- Assisting with quality control and site documentation
- Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors, and site management
- Monitoring progress and reporting to senior engineers and project managers
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects in Ireland
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience with setting out, drainage, roadworks, or utilities is desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative on site
Package:
- Salary circa €50,000 – €60,000 (DOE)
