Site Engineers required to join a leading Tier 1 Building Contractor in Cork for new large-scale residential and commercial projects.You will be overseeing and ensuring high level quality work and ensuring it complies with the regulations and the general and specific specifications of the project. You will also be working closely with the site personnel to deliver the project to the highest possible standard.
Role:
- Setting-out from engineers’ drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings
- Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
- Working with subcontractors/general workforce on site
- Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved
- Liaising with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate
- Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
- Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
- Ordering and control of materials on site.
- Maintaining the site records as required
Requirements:
- Completed a third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline
- 2-3 years post-qualification experience minimum
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme
- Strong IT Skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full driving license
Salary
- Salary circa €65k – €75k DOE
- Vehicle/Fuel allowance
