Senior Wastewater Treatment Engineer
Location: Dublin
Senior Wastewater Treatment Engineer with 7+ years’ experience required to join an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in their Dublin office. The successful Wastewater Engineer will work on a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The candidate will be working on wastewater treatment plant design, process engineering, treatment facility upgrades and network infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer to support junior team members and will play an important role in the delivery of projects within a well-established consultancy.
Sample Projects:
- Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades: Major upgrades to existing treatment facilities, including increased treatment capacity, new process tanks, sludge treatment facilities and improvements to discharge standard – €35m – €55m.
- Large-scale Wastewater Treatment Facilities: Design and delivery of new or expanded treatment infrastructure to accommodate population growth and increased demand – €40m – €60m.
- Pumping stations: Design of new pumping stations, rising mains and associated mechanical and process infrastructure to improve wastewater network capacity – €5m – €15m.
- Treatment Process Improvements: Upgrades involving biological treatment systems, settlement tanks and energy efficient improvements – €15m – €25m.
Requirements:
- Senior Civil Engineer should have 7+ years’ experience within a civil engineering consultancy.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or in a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or related software’s.
- Experience in water, wastewater or drainage engineering
- Experience working within an Irish engineering consultancy.
