Senior Mechanical Engineer

An expanding international M&E engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Dublin or Cork, working across data centres, pharmaceutical, healthcare and commercial projects.
The Role:
The successful Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and coordination of mechanical building services across a range of projects. Responsibilities include managing project delivery, developing engineering specifications and solutions, coordinating engineering services, reviewing calculations and drawings, liaising with clients and contractors, attending technical meetings and mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification and experience.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
- Significant mechanical design and specifications experience across multiple building types.
- European data centre and mission-critical projects experience; pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, laboratory and cleanroom experience is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Irish Standards, regulations, relevant engineering codes.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of QA/QC procedures.
Eligibility: This role will ideally suit candidates with the right to live and work in Ireland without restrictions.
