We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead projects, mentor engineers, and deliver best-in-class building services solutions. This role involves managing full mechanical design on projects of varying scales, ensuring quality control, and maintaining strong client relationships. Projects include data centres, commercial offices, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments across Ireland and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full mechanical design on projects
- Provide quality control and cost control across multiple offices
- Manage project teams and cross-functional collaboration
- Represent the company at client meetings, surveys, and site visits
- Support coordination with other offices and disciplines
Education & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years’ building services consultancy design experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, heating, water services, fuel, drainage, and BMS
- Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessment, and BIM desirable
- Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations (Part B, F, G, L)
- Chartership desirable
