A leading Irish main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team in North Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders for major residential construction projects while supporting business growth and project acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Manage multiple tender submissions and deadlines simultaneously
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing information
- Assess project risks and commercial opportunities during the tender process
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to develop winning bids
- Support value engineering and cost planning exercises
Requirements
- Minimum 6–7 years’ experience in an estimating role with a main contractor
- Proven track record preparing tenders for construction projects
- Strong knowledge of the Irish construction industry
- Quantity Surveying background highly desirable
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management
Salary & Benefits
