A Tier 1 Main Contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team in Waterford for a large-scale educational build project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a high-profile development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
- Oversee setting out tasks and provide technical guidance on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
- Resolve engineering-related issues and support subcontractors.
- Prepare project reports, schedules, and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure health & safety compliance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in housing projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team and manage multiple tasks.
