Our client, a premier Tier 1 contractor, is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team on a major healthcare project in Waterford. This role is ideal for a highly motivated engineering professional eager to contribute to a flagship development with significant impact on the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and engineering support across the project lifecycle.
- Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure design and construction comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a senior engineering role, ideally within healthcare or large-scale building projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in engineering software and project management tools.
