My client. a Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team in Kilkenny, to work on a large scale educational build project.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering activities on an educational build project ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Setting out tasks.
- Providing guidance to site teams and subcontractors, resolving engineering-related issues.
- Working with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Preparation of project documentation, including reports and schedules.
- Carry out site inspections to monitor progress and ensure health and safety compliance.
Key Requirements:
- Engineering Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in housing projects.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work part of a team, managing multiple tasks
