A Senior Engineer is required to join a multi-disciplinary civil engineering and utilities contractor in Dublin/Meath. This is a site-based role, overseeing ESB-related works across multiple locations within the county. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and in line with ESB standards and procedures.
Role:
- Managing day-to-day site operations across ESB and utilities projects.
- Coordinating site managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with ESB standards, permits, RAMS and health & safety requirements
- Liaising with ESB representatives and internal project stakeholders.
- Monitoring programme progress and reporting to senior management
- Ensuring quality standards are met and works are delivered to specification
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
Requirements:
- A relevant Irish construction or engineering qualification is an advantage but not essential.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working on ESB or utilities projects.
- Proven experience in a Site Management role within civils or utilities.
- Strong knowledge of ESB safety systems and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing live construction environments and subcontractor teams.

Salary:
- Salary circa €60k – €80k DOE
