A Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 8+ years’ experience is required to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a senior position, working on high-profile projects across a range of sectors.
Projects:
- Large-Scale Industrial & Manufacturing Facility – €85M
- Major Food Processing & Production Facility – €85M
- Student Accommodation Development – €25M
- Large Commercial & Residential Refurbishment – €10M
The Role:
The successful Senior Design Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design across major projects from concept through to completion, oversee calculations, specifications and technical reviews, manage project delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients and contractors, and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
- 8+ years’ professional experience in electrical building services design, ideally within an Irish M&E or building services consultancy.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartership is desirable.
- Proven experience leading projects and managing client relationships.
- Must have an existing, valid right to work in Ireland.
