Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 DOE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to take the lead on electrical design delivery across a diverse range of projects, from building services installations to medium voltage (MV) networks.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver complete electrical design solutions on projects of varying scale, including MV distribution.
- Ensure all design output complies with relevant codes, standards, and best practice.
- Take ownership of project budgets, financial performance, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development to junior staff.
- Attend client meetings, design workshops, and site visits as required.
- Oversee project delivery with a focus on project management, quality assurance, and technical review.
Requirements:
- Irish Experience in the industry.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior electrical engineering role.
- Degree-qualified (BSc/BEng) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Chartered or progressing towards chartership preferred .
- Proven track record in designing and specifying systems across commercial, healthcare, residential, and other building types.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Dialux, Amtech (Trimble), ETAP, Eracs, CDEGS, plus MS Office.
- Excellent knowledge of BS standards and Irish Health & Safety regulations.
- Full clean Irish driving licence.
- Eligible to work in Ireland with fluent English.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
- Previous experience in consultancy or contracting highly desirable.
- High ethical standards and commitment to delivering quality work.
