Senior Civil Quantity Surveyor required to join one of Ireland’s largest main contractors on a Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland. The successful candidate would be reporting into the Commercial Manager. Responsibilities:
- Develop, negotiate, and manage subcontract packages from tender to final account.
- Submit accurate monthly cost reports and project projections.
- Attend stakeholder meetings; negotiate and finalize accounts.
- Handle subcontractor and client claims promptly.
- Develop and submit external valuations; coordinate with accounts.
- Manage project budget, client communications, and monthly reports.
- Resolve disputes and document cost changes.
- Supervision and development of junior members of the team.
Requirements
- A relevant third level degree qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- 8+ years’ experience in a similar role for a main contractor or specialist subcontractor with a particular focus on civil engineering and groundworks.
- Experience working on a Data Centre project would be beneficial.
- A proven working knowledge of current contract law.
- A proven track record in customer relationship development.
- IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Benefits:
- Salary €90,000 to €105,000 DOE
