We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer with 6-10+ years of experience to join a well-established, medium-sized civil and structural engineering consultancy in Dublin. This wholly Irish-owned practice has successfully completed a wide variety of projects both across Ireland and in over 70 countries globally, providing practical, high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- The successful Civil Engineer will manage and design a range of projects, including mixed-use developments, hotels, commercial, retail, and residential projects. You’ll tackle engineering challenges while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
- The role offers the chance to work in a fantastic environment in a prime location.
Current Projects Include:
- Residential development with 226 units (houses & apartments) in Dublin
- A 13-storey build-to-rent residential development consisting of 102 units plus amenities and a café in Dublin
- Various hotel projects in Dublin
- Project values range from €10m to €200m+, offering a diverse mix of projects both nationally and internationally.
Role & Requirements:
- Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- 6-10+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Ideally, the Civil Engineer will be chartered or working towards chartership.
- Experience in designing all aspects of civil engineering infrastructure.
- The successful Civil Engineer will have familiarity with Eurocodes and British Standards.
- Proficiency in civil design software, such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage, etc.
