A leading Irish civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Resident Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team in Leinster.
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Resident Engineer looking to work on major infrastructure and transportation projects across the region while developing their career within a well-established consultancy. The company has delivered some of Ireland’s most significant civil engineering schemes and continues to experience strong growth across the transport and infrastructure sectors.
Projects:
- Major roads and transport infrastructure schemes
- Active travel and public realm projects
- Bus and sustainable transport developments
- Large-scale civil infrastructure projects
- Water and utilities projects
- Multidisciplinary infrastructure developments throughout Leinster
Role
- Acting as Resident Engineer on major civil engineering projects across Leinster
- Supervising construction works and ensuring compliance with specifications and contract requirements
- Monitoring quality, programme delivery and health & safety performance on site
- Reviewing contractor submissions, method statements and quality documentation
- Preparing site records, progress reports and project documentation
- Assisting with contract administration and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project requirements
- Identifying engineering issues on site and implementing practical solutions
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in Resident Engineering, site supervision or construction management roles
- Experience working on roads, transport, infrastructure or water projects is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction standards and contract administration
- Chartered status or progression towards chartership would be advantageous
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to work on site across Leinster
Salary & Benefits:
- €65,000 – €80,000 DOE + benefits
