Quantity Surveyor
We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading mechanical and electrical contractor delivering high-profile projects across the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, commercial, healthcare and public sectors. This role would be based in either Galway or Mayo.

The Role
- Manage the full commercial lifecycle of M&E projects from procurement through to final account.
- Prepare cost plans, valuations, variations, CVRs, cash flow forecasts and financial reports.
- Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations and contract administration.
- Identify, price and agree variations while protecting project profitability.
- Monitor project costs, commercial risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Background working with a main contractor or specialist M&E contractor.
- Excellent commercial acumen, financial management and negotiation skills.
- Highly organised with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
