Our client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. This leading construction company is renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative projects across Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on a large scale multi-million euro project.
Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Manage and control all project costs to ensure the project is completed within budget.
- Budget Preparation: Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates, ensuring accurate and timely budgeting.
- Contract Administration: Administer contract terms and conditions, manage claims, and negotiate variations and final accounts.
- Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, including the selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Valuations: Prepare and submit accurate monthly valuations, ensuring timely and appropriate invoicing.
- Reporting: Produce regular financial reports, including cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and profitability analysis.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor
- Strong technical understanding of quantity surveying practices, cost management, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
Salary Package:
- €75k – €85k + DOE
