One of Ireland’s leading civil engineering contractors is currently seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team at their Kildare office. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for civil engineering projects.
- Track project costs and support the management of finances throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage procurement processes and subcontractor relationships, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Oversee variations and ensure compliance with contracts and client requirements.
- Liaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to resolve any issues and maintain project progress.
- Provide support and guidance to junior quantity surveyors within the team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering sector.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of contract management, cost control, and project finance.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Salary & Benefits:
