Quality Engineer (Kilcullen, Kildare)
A leading civil engineering company is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. This is a full-time, office-based position, reporting directly to the Quality Manager. The successful candidate will assist with maintaining quality management systems, managing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with company procedures across civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upload, input, and maintain quality-related data on the company’s document management system.
- Ensure all project quality records and documentation are accurate and kept up to date.
- Assist the Quality Manager with maintaining the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage and track quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and compliance certificates.
- Assist with quality audits and ensure documentation meets company and industry standards.
- Liaise with project teams to obtain and update quality-related information.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality-related role, preferably within construction or civil engineering.
- Relevant degree in Quality Management, Quality Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and document control procedures.
- Strong IT skills and experience using data management software.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of €40,000 – €45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
