Project Manager – Water Infrastructure (Greater Dublin Area)
A Project Manager is required by a leading civil and utilities contractor to oversee major water infrastructure projects across the Greater Dublin Area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead high-profile water and wastewater schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The projects involve the delivery of water main replacements, large-diameter pipelines, and wastewater network upgrades, forming part of national programmes to improve water supply reliability, reduce leakage, and enhance operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage water infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
- Monitor progress and ensure compliance with design, quality, Health & Safety, and environmental standards.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, utility providers, and local authorities.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and risk assessments.
- Provide leadership and support to site teams, ensuring smooth communication and effective delivery.
- Identify and resolve project issues proactively, maintaining programme and cost control.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in project management, preferably in water infrastructure or utilities projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale water main, pipeline, and wastewater projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, QA/QC, and environmental compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and reporting tools.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Greater Dublin Area.
Salary:
- Competitive salary €85k–€100k depending on experience.
