A leading tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the Galway region. This is a strong opportunity to deliver award-winning, multi-million-euro building projects from pre-start through to handover in a fast-paced and high-performing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, monitor, and update project programmes using planning software.
• Manage site operations including logistics, procurement, quality, and design coordination.
• Identify programme risks early and implement mitigation measures.
• Oversee BC(A)R, technical submittals, and design management.
• Prepare monthly progress reports covering programme, safety, quality, and financial performance.
• Lead project teams and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.
• Chair site, QA, and coordination meetings with clear reporting and actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Support procurement and pre-construction activities where required.
Health & Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all H&S legislation and company systems.
• Promote a strong safety culture and oversee site safety practices.
• Manage risk assessments, method statements, and incident investigations.
• Ensure safety documentation, audits, and site plans are maintained and implemented.
Quality:
• Implement and maintain project QA systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure high workmanship standards.
• Manage QA meetings and subcontractor quality compliance.
Requirements:
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong experience managing large-scale building projects.
• Excellent planning, programming, and site management skills.
• Strong knowledge of BC(A)R, procurement, and design coordination.
• Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Office.
Salary Package:
• €95,000 – €105,000
