Project Manager – Substation Works
A leading engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee substation works on a large-scale industrial project in Mulhuddart, Dublin.
This is a key position responsible for managing the delivery of high-value electrical infrastructure works, with a focus on HV/MV substations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of substation works on a major industrial project
- Oversee all aspects of project execution from planning through to completion
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with project specifications, programme, and budget
- Manage project schedules, resources, and procurement requirements
- Monitor progress and provide regular reporting to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Drive programme performance and ensure key milestones are achieved
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering substation or electrical infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV systems and substation construction
- Background in electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience managing large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Package:
- Salary circa €85,000 – €95,000 (DOE)
