A leading architectural practice is seeking a confident and forward-thinking Project Architect to join its Cork studio and contribute to a multidisciplinary major-projects design team.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Architect who enjoys taking responsibility, communicating clearly and identifying ways to improve project design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and delivery of major multidisciplinary projects
- Manage architectural projects and packages across various stages
- Produce and coordinate high-quality design and technical documentation using Revit
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams
- Review multidisciplinary information and resolve design or technical issues
- Support projects in meeting agreed programmes, deadlines and quality standards
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, planning requirements and professional standards
- Attend and contribute to design-team meetings, technical workshops and client presentations
- Maintain strong standards of design, construction detailing and project execution
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks while working collaboratively within the wider practice
Requirements
- 5–8 years’ professional architectural experience
- Architectural qualification and relevant professional experience
- Essential proficiency in Revit
- Strong architectural design ability and technical knowledge
- Experience contributing to or delivering medium- and large-scale projects
- Ability to interpret and coordinate complex technical information
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to plan work and meet agreed project deadlines
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
