Precast Concrete Design Engineer
Location: Cork
Precast Concrete Design Engineer with 2+ years’ experience required to join an established engineering team specialising in the design, detailing and delivery of precast concrete structure. The successful precast engineer will work on a variety of large-scale residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be taking responsibility for structural design and modelling of precast elements including beams, columns, hollow core flooring, wall panels, stairs and structural connections. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to develop their technical expertise within a specialist precast design environment.
Sample Projects:
- Large-Scale Residential Developments: Multi-story complexes and housing developments involving design of precast concrete floor slabs, staircases, internal and external wall panels and structural framing systems – €30m – €60m
- Commercial & Office Developments: Office buildings, hotels, retail developments and mixed-use schemes incorporating precast columns, beams, hollow core flooring and façade elements – €20m – €50m.
- Industrial & Logistics Facilities: Large-scale warehouses, distribution centers and manufacturing facilities requiring long-span precast beams, columns, roof structures, cladding panels and heavy-duty flooring systems. – €50m – €70m.
Requirements:
- Precast Concrete Design Engineer should have 2+ years’ experience within a civil engineering consultancy.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or in a related field.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Tekla Structure.
- Ability to interpret structural drawings and technical documentation.
