Mechanical Estimator
An experienced Mechanical Estimator is needed to join a well-established and progressive M&E Contractor in Dublin. The successful Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for of a range of Commercial, Pharmaceutical and Data Centre Projects.

Duties:
- The Mechanical Estimator will be tasked with developing comprehensive tender submissions.
- Carry out regular assessments of operational practices to uncover potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Calculate the necessary quantities of materials, equipment, and labour for projects.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals, ensuring inclusions and exclusions are correctly noted.
- Engage in price negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Address tender queries and produce detailed tender documentation.
- Gather and organize pre-project data and relevant information.
- Develop a schedule for procuring materials and resources required for the project.
- Generate detailed cost estimates and financial reports.
- Facilitate the final handover to the project team, ensuring all details are communicated effectively.
Requirements:
- Relevant Degree or Trade background
- The Mechanical Estimator must have 4 years’+ experience working as a Mechanical Estimator on M&E projects
- Must have experience working in Ireland or the UK
- Good communication skills and proven track record in taking tenders from pricing through to final client award
- Ability to work as both part of a team and on their own initiative
- Strong HVAC experience with a large contractor.
