Mechanical Design Engineer required to join a leading engineering contractor in Cork, working on large-scale Pharmaceutical projects. The successful candidate will support the design and coordination of mechanical building services systems across all stages of project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and coordination of mechanical building services systems
• Produce and review mechanical design drawings and technical documentation
• Support project teams through design development and delivery stages
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Attend design and project meetings as required
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Assist with technical submittals and equipment selection
• Support commissioning and handover activities where required

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role
• Experience working on Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, or Industrial projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
• Experience with design software and technical coordination
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Must be based in Ireland or the UK and eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship
