Junior Mechanical Engineer
We are hiring a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Mechanical Contractor in Dublin. This role supports the delivery of mechanical installations on large-scale projects, ensuring systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in line with design and regulatory requirements. The position is site-based in Dublin with occasional travel to Europe.

Responsibilities
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance
- Support design development and resolve technical queries
- Assist with procurement, including equipment selection and material approvals
- Monitor on-site installations to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track progress and report updates to Project Management
- Maintain documentation (ITPs, quality records, RFIs, red-line drawings)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 1–2 years’ experience in building services or construction engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, and mechanical installations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and solve engineering issues
- Familiarity with MS Office and BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks)
- Knowledge of Irish/EU construction standards is an advantage
