Junior Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €40K-€60K DOE
Role:
We are seeking Junior Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers to join a leading Building Services Engineering consultancy in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, with structured training and mentoring from senior staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and delivery of Mechanical and Electrical building services projects.
- Support senior engineers with technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux.
- Attend site visits, inspections, and project meetings under supervision.
- Engage with accredited training schemes to work toward Chartered Engineer status.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent).
- 2+years’ experience in building services design (placement/internship experience considered).
- Basic knowledge of Irish building regulations.
- Eagerness to learn, develop, and progress toward Chartership.
