A Junior Electrical Design Engineer is required to join an established M&E Design Consultancy in Cork, working on a range of building services projects, with a particular focus on healthcare and hospital developments. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with 1–3 years’ experience to further develop their career within an established engineering consultancy.
The Role
The successful Junior Electrical Design Engineer will support the electrical design and delivery of building services projects, working alongside experienced engineers on a variety of developments, particularly within the healthcare sector. Responsibilities will include electrical design, technical calculations, preparation of drawings and specifications, and coordination with multidisciplinary design teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- 1–3 years’ experience in electrical building services design.
- Previous experience working within an M&E design consultancy.
- Experience working on healthcare or hospital projects is advantageous.
- Good understanding of electrical building services systems and design principles.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and electrical calculation packages.
- Experience working on healthcare or hospital projects is desirable.
