Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
A well-established Main Contractor is seeking to recruit an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Galway.
Role:
- Procure Subcontractors & Suppliers.
- Compile and issue Subcontracts.
- Administer Subcontracts in respect to notifications.
- Agree monthly valuations with the Client’s representative.
- Contribute to the production of monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reports.
- Assist with preparation of monthly project Payment Claims.
- Support the production of Internal and External Project Cashflow information.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, QS Conversion MSc, or relevant Construction/Engineering degree with 4+ years’ surveying experience.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Strong contractual and commercial knowledge.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with clients and design teams.
- Experience administering RIAI, GCC, and bespoke contracts.
- IT literate; experience with Cubit, CostX & COINS software preferable.
