Excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Cork. The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will join an established building services team working on a diverse range of projects across Ireland, including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, pharmaceutical projects across the public and private sectors.
Projects Include:
- Large-scale Educational development – €40m+
- Major Commercial development – €30m+
- Large Healthcare facility – €20m+
- Major Pharmaceutical development – €15m+
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of Irish building services standards, regulations and industry practices.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial or refurbishment projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience with Revit MEP and BIM is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services design, including HVAC, heating, ventilation and plumbing systems.
