Health & Safety Manager required to join one of Ireland’s largest Tier 1 Main Contractors to work on a Data Centre project in Finland. The successful candidate will report to the Health & Safety Lead for the project.

Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Safety Management: Ensure adherence to Safety Management systems, project execution plans, and relevant EHS regulations. Oversee method statements, risk assessments, C.O.S.H.H assessments, and permits.
 - Monitoring & Auditing: Conduct site audits, monitor contractors and subcontractors for compliance with project and client EHS requirements, and follow up on corrective actions.
 - Reporting & Communication: Perform H&S reporting, analyse metrics, and keep senior management informed. Represent the project in Client H&S meetings and inspections, ensuring timely closure of actions.
 - Training & Induction: Coordinate and manage EHS training and site inductions. Ensure proper use and availability of PPE across the project.
 - Incident Management: Assist in accident investigations, ensure timely reporting, and oversee corrective and preventive action closure.
 - Proactive Safety Promotion: Collaborate with site teams to promote a strong safety culture and adopt proactive EHS practices across all activities.
 
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
 - A relevant Health & Safety qualification.
 - Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external clients.
 - Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 - Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
 - IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
