Health & Safety Advisor (Cork)
A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their team supporting a range of commercial construction projects across Cork City and West Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety professional to work closely with project teams, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across multiple construction projects.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain health & safety procedures across projects
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and safety observations
• Support teams with risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation
• Monitor compliance with legislation, company policies, and project requirements
• Provide health & safety guidance and training to site teams
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports
• Promote a strong health & safety culture across all sites
Requirements:
• Experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and construction regulations
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects preferred
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent desirable)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to engage effectively with site teams and subcontractors
• Full driving licence
Benefits:
• €60k–€70k DOE
