One of Ireland’s leading civil contractors is seeking a highly motivated Civils Foreman to join their dynamic team for an exciting residential project in Cork City. This opportunity offers long-term work with an established contractor known for delivering high-quality projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations on site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- Supervise a team of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, carrying out regular inspections and maintaining safe work practices.
- Liaise with project managers and engineers to ensure project goals and milestones are met.
- Coordinate materials and resources on site, managing procurement and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Prepare and manage site documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and incident reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Civils Foreman, ideally within residential or civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering processes, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of €65,000 – €75,000, depending on experience.
