Facade Manager

Facade Manager required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a large-scale apartment development in Cork. Our client is specifically looking for an experienced Facade Manager, ideally with brickwork experience, to manage the facade package from start to finish. The successful Facade Manager will report to the Site Manager on site.

Role:

• Take ownership of the facade package, including brickwork, cladding and external envelope works.
• Plan, programme and sequence facade works to align with the wider project programme.
• Manage and coordinate facade subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and materials against specification, drawings and performance requirements.
• Liaise with the design team, client representatives and subcontractors on facade design and technical queries.
• Enforce site Health and Safety standards across all facade and external works.
• Manage snagging and defect close-out for the external envelope ahead of handover.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Facade Manager or similar role with a main contractor
• Brickwork experience ideally
• Experience on large-scale residential or apartment developments
• Strong understanding of external envelope systems, detailing and quality standards
• Strong leadership, coordination and organisational skills

• Salary €70,000 – €80,000 + package
