My client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their MEP team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across various sectors, including life sciences, industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical, and residential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and specify electrical engineering solutions in line with current regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the MEP and project design teams to develop technical solutions.
- Manage pre-construction activities, including service coordination and tender documentation.
- Oversee projects during construction, handling site inspections, technical submittals, and RFIs.
- Ensure installations meet approved quality plans.
- Attend project meetings and support M&E staff in project completion.
Requirements:
- Degree or trade qualification in Electrical/Building Services Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar design role.
- Proficiency in designing and specifying electrical/building services systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of current engineering standards.
- Experience with main contractors preferred.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong IT skills, including Revit/BIM and Microsoft applications.
