Design Manager
A Tier 2 Main Building Contractor is seeking a Design Manager to join their team that is working on several large residential projects -already started and commencing in the following months. Our client has a robust project pipeline for their busiest year yet, delivering diverse developments nationwide. We are looking for a Design Manager with who has worked on large Resi projects in Ireland or the UK previously and we will consider candidates coming from a design office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Design Director
- Manage the submission and approval process for designs and materials, securing client approvals.
- Proactively address potential design risks by collaborating with the Design Team to devise solutions.
- Create forward-looking project plans.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Demonstrate strong scheduling and program management abilities.
- Participate in site meetings, providing updates on project progress.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Design management experience with a main contractor or developer is ideal, though candidates from architectural practices or design firms with relevant skills will be considered.
- Background in residential projects
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
Compensation:
- €80,000–€90,000.
