Construction Project Manager
Construction Project Manager required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a large-scale data centre project in Germany. Our client is specifically looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with proven data centre construction experience, comfortable working away from home on an international assignment managing site delivery on a large-scale, technically demanding build. Candidates from Ireland or the UK with a track record on complex, fast-track construction programmes are encouraged to apply. The successful Construction Project Manager will report to the Project Director on site.
Role:
- Manage overall construction delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.
- Lead and coordinate the site team, subcontractors and design consultants across all phases of construction.
- Oversee programme, cost and quality control across the full build, escalating and resolving risks as they arise.
- Manage client, design team and subcontractor relationships, chairing key project meetings.
- Ensure compliance with CDM, Health and Safety, and quality requirements throughout construction.
- Report project progress, risk, and commercial status to senior management and the client.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with a main contractor
- Data centre construction experience required
- Experience managing large-scale, technically demanding commercial or industrial builds
- Open to relocating/working away in Germany for the duration of the project
- Strong leadership, programme and subcontractor management track record
Desirable:
- Experience working on international or overseas projects previously
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
Salary & Benefits
- Salary €110,000 – €130,000
